Flexibility is our aim at Christmas. So whether your celebration is a small office drinks reception or a large, formal dinner, the Foundation provides a versatile and interesting space for your party. Or if you're thinking of putting on a spectacle... Work with our Event Organisers to design your own Christmas party. The Bridewell Theatre has witnessed many a themed party and with lighting designers at hand you can ensure that your party will be unlike any others around.
Library Tours
Give your delegates something to do at Lunchtime. Discover the heritage of Fleet Street: a fascinating insight into this pre-eminent collection devoted to the study of printing and typography where you can watch demonstrations of traditional type-making, composing and presswork. Please ask your Event Organiser for further details.
Pre-Theatre
Coming to the theatre? Why not invite all your friends and colleagues and have a private reception before the show? Ask our Events team for packages available.
Wedding Receptions
Here at the St Bride Foundation, we ensure that you have exclusive use of the venue on your wedding day. A dedicated Event Organiser will work with you from your first viewing up to the big day itself and will be on hand to recommend the most suitable rooms and attend to the logistics on the day. We believe that every wedding is unique, and therefore instead of providing a set package we offer you the flexibility of choosing exactly what you want to make your special day even more memorable.
Away-days in the Print Workshop
Our Print Workshop is the perfect venue for an away-day with a difference. Trade your stuffy office garb for old clothes that can stand a blob of ink or two and join one of our tutors to learn about how printing was done when letters were things you had to pick up, place in order, and put away when the job was complete. We offer introductions to letterpress printing, linocutting and bookbinding that unlock creativity and provide a rewarding experience of craftsmanship.
